I'm still finding that I prefer shorter lengths with full skirts in colder weather. I think it just works so much better! This one is from asos, bought when I was getting frustrated with not being able to find vintage ones. So is the cardigan, and for similar reasons! The belt is from dotti, the peach jumper is op-shopped, the shoes are by Joanne Mercer and still among my all time favourites, the tights are dear gladys and the fur is vintage. Wow, these lists are going to be long for a while! I have a few full skirts that I plan to temporarily shorten for the colder weather... sewing hems is dull but I'll be happy when they're done! Typing in the title, I remembered that I have worn this skirt on the blog once before, in much warmer weather. I love having things that can be worn all year round, and I'd love to see how other people do this. I think I'll be posting about this too!

Adorable! I love the silver and black combo with the peach jumper.
LOL. I was all "What? What? There are only two bows!" Then I discoevered the belt bow. Mystery solved.
Bloody hating this cold. Brrr... And how hard I it taking photos in the dark? I was outside yesterday at midday-ish and I swear it was only half-light.
Seriously... your outfit couldn't get any better!
I giggled when you said about the list of clothes being long. Just coming into winter in Melbourne, that list is about to get reeeeally long lol ;)
You look gorgeous! Can you please do a hair tutorial really soon....I'm dying to see how you always get it looking so cute :)

You are so good at putting together shades I would never think to pair. Looks great.
Are those pin curls you do? If they are, do you have a certain "setting pattern" for them or something? I feel that my pin curls are never as gorgeous, but I'd like to get better!
Beautiful shots. It's so hard getting it right in this dark Melbourne gloom....do you mind me asking what camera you use? xx
An adorable cold-weather look!
love the bows in your hair and the tights are cute too
*BEAUTIFUL HAIR, AND I LIKE YOUR CARDIGAN, CUTE!*
What a terrifically sweet, fun, girly outfit! The colour palette here is stellar; at once warm and cool, classic and fresh, and all together beautiful.

Girl living in Oslo: really, it's just standard, but thanks! :)
Miss Tallulah Porkchop: haha yes a sneaky third! And I know, so gloomy, this light. All day. Boo.
Alli: haha I know, and finishing with huge coats! I'm going to film a hair tutorial tomorrow for an up do, but get asked about pin curls so might do something new with that, too :)
anniina: no pattern, joyously random. :) Maybe I should do a post on this...
Gabrielle Delacour: thanks! I know, it's been SO dark all the time this week. I use a canon eos 450D, but am desperate to upgrade...
Sarah: hello, and thank you! :D x
Emily Baker: curly hair is the BEST! :D I haz a jealous! x
I love full skirts! And you wear this style so well. Can I ask how you found the sizing especially the waist? Asos can be a either a hit or miss for me so not sure whether to go for a 10 or 12 - usually wear an AU10. Thanks so much and keep up the great work :)
AgentKay: I find asos skirts really quite big in the waist, so I will order a smaller size in future. Hope that helps! x
Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated :)
Holy Moley! You are so divine. Love the skirt!
The pink dress that is hanging behind you? I had one the EXACT same print, before I gave it to the Salvos a few years ago! I wonder if it is the same one?!

I love your skirt! I'm not usually a big fan of grey, but the sheen and fullness of this piece are lovely.
