shop my wardrobe

190514all And just like that it's winter. I, for one, am quite happy about it, too, although I am still very much in Autumn-mode when it comes to choosing what I want to wear, at least most of the time. Well, it is such a good season!

I really wanted to put this up today, a small preview of something I'll be working on over the next few weeks. I have been doing some serious wardrobe emptying and have some great things I would like to see go to good homes. They'll be popped on here soon. And, there's more to come, too!

Hello Marianne,

The yellow rose looks glorious. I was wondering if I might lay claim on that beauty?

Here's hoping.

Hi Marianne! Your blog and style are lovely! I love the yellow rose print dress the most, I can't wait for these to be available! I imagine they're too small for me (you seem to be pretty tiny :D ), but I guess I will have to wait and see!

little lyzi : I will be :D

Anonymous : it has had interest but I am waiting back to hear what they think about the sizing of it (as I know it might not be right for them) so I can add you to the list :)

Delaney : that dress is popular! It's a bit too big for me (hence selling) and I'll get the listings up properly soon. I have them all typed I just have to work out the best way of doing them. One big post, maybe?!

Marianne!

I have an excellent seamstress in melbourne's CDB. I have many of my vintage dresses taken in at the bust by her. The waist can be taken in too, but I tend to try to buy with the right waist measurement and have the bust altered as the waist often requires a bit more work.

She's great for a dress that is a size or two too big. Let me know if you'd like me to email you her details.

O, I love the red and white stripe number! If it will fit a 35" bust, 27" waist I will take it off your hands :)

hey! I love love love your blog. And I am SO interested in this yellow white flower beauty. Would love to be on your list for this one!
Is the blue white check one of the top left still available?
I'm always dreaming about owning some nice vintage dresses, but they're always so hard to find.

Jess: that would be awesome! I don't know if I'd want to alter a vintage dress, but definitely would with new things. There's too much vintage out there that's going to fit me perfectly to want to change it, and I always think that if it doesn't fit it's destined for someone else! Within reason of course! This yellow and green floral dress is too big and too tall so in this case I think it's better for someone else. A bit gutted though, I must admit. The colours and print are perfect!

Meg : it measures approx. 34 bust and 26 waist (inches) so it depends how firm you like your dresses?

Kristina : added! The check one is still available too, gosh I need to get these listings up! I'll see if I can make a separate page for them on here. xx and yes, SO hard to find, I know the feeling!

Gaby Balls : :D the red one (top right) has been a fav for years (over 5 years) but I have outgrown it, literally haha!

Oh my! How beautiful all of these are!

If still available I would be interested in the red and white gingham keyhole dress.

My measurements are 34' bust & 26' waist. (Fingers crossed)!

Rachael Simpson: it is that exactly! And Aus/UK size 8 :) I've got the photos loaded, got the measurements ready, I'll try and get the listings up after dinner tonight! You're first in line for this one.

Elke : :D I know this might sound odd but that is really encouraging!

Thanks Marianne! Will measure a few favourites and check :)

I feel a little guilty for de-lurking over a possible new dress, but I read your blog regularly and love your photos and style. Best :)

esme and the laneway said...

Melanie Thomas : (as per our twitter chat!) absolutely! xx

Anonymous Amber : they are, there has been interest in the blue and white one already so I can add you to the list for it, and the listings are up now (At last! haha) for sizing etc :) xx

Rachael Simpson : no probs :D

Anonymous Meg : thank YOU – it's really nice to have people "de-lurk" as that's what this should be about, really :) it's the best to know people are out there and I'm not waffling into the ether!
